A Message From our Lab Director Regarding Your Frozen Tissues

Dear Hanabusa patients,

We at Hanabusa IVF know these are stressful and confusing times for everyone.

We are reaching out to you today to reassure you that during these difficult times that all of your cryopreserved tissues in storage at Hanabusa IVF are being very well taken care of. We have one of the most state of the art laboratory monitoring systems on the market today, Xiltrix, monitoring all of our equipment and storage tanks for the safety of your oocytes, embryos, and sperm. Xiltrix provides a secure system that is controlled by a live person in a remote setting 24/7. No matter whether our office is open or closed, your tissues are under constant watch, and we will respond immediately should any issue arise. In addition to this outside monitoring system, our embryologists are logging into the system daily and reconfirming that everything is functioning properly.

We have spoken with our liquid nitrogen suppliers to assure that even in these times of “lockdown” that we will have a consistent, uninterrupted liquid nitrogen supply. One of our dedicated embryology staff will still be routinely coming into the laboratory to refill the tanks on their regularly scheduled refill days.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We are here for you.

Sincerely,

Lisa Nelson, MSc, ELD (ABB)
