Fertility Support for LGBTQ Community

We know that everyone’s journey to parenthood is not the same.

Hanabusa IVF is excited to assist the LGBTQ community in their dream of family building. Our team is as diverse as the community we serve. Therefore, we offer a unique level of assistance and understanding.

There are fertility options for everyone! We got you covered.

TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR LESBIANS:

  • Cycle Monitoring: Cycle monitoring for at-home insemination.
  • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): A simple treatment where donor sperm is transferred to the uterus.
  • In-vitro fertilization (IVF): A process where an egg is combined with sperm outside the body, in vitro. The process involves Ovarian induction, Egg retrieval, Fertilization, Embryo culture, and embryo transfer.
  • Reciprocal IVF (Co-Maternity): Allows both future parents to have a physiological connection with their baby. It is technically identical to IVF, only the embryos are created involving the genetic mother’s eggs and then fertilized embryos are transferred inside the birth mother’s uterus to carry the pregnancy.

RECIPROCAL IVF:

Reciprocal Low Complexity IVF:
  • Our most popular program for Women under 38:
  • It relies on the basic principles of IVF technology but simplifies therapeutic interventions. It is a cost-conscious treatment option involving mostly oral medications.

Standard Reciprocal IVF:
  • It offers a complex IVF treatment with more flexibility and full access to the latest reproductive technology.
  • This program includes ICSI, assisted hatching, embryo freezing, and genetic screening/testing of the embryos. It involves either conventional or Minimal ovarian stimulation.

FERTILITY OPTIONS FOR GAY MEN:

  • Onsite Egg Donor and Surrogacy Program: Either or both partners can provide the sperm needed to inseminate the donor eggs. Once the embryo reaches the blastocyst stage, the embryo will be transferred to your selected surrogate. Genetic screening is available.

  • Dual Insemination: Male couples can combine sperm from both partners that can be used to create an embryo then transferred to a surrogate of your choosing. During this process, two eggs can be inseminated which could result in twins—each with a biologically different father.
  • Directed Egg Donation: You can pick an egg from our egg bank or have one donated by your choosing.
