Virtual Consult- Physician

Your first visit experience happens in three clear steps:
Virtual MD consult → Phone consult with a Nurse → First in-office visit scheduled
Based on your persoanlized plan, we start virtually so you can get answers and a plan quickly, then we schedule your first in-office appointment only when instructed by our clinical team.

Your first appointment is a 60 minute virtual consult with a physician. This is where we learn your story, review what you already know, and build a personalized plan based on your biology and goals.
Your fertility and medical history
Prior testing, diagnoses, and treatments
What matters most to you: timeline, comfort, budget, and family goals
What additional testing or records are needed, if any
The best next treatment path for you and why
A clear plan
A list of next steps
A timeline for what happens next

After your virtual physician consult, you will have a call with your assigned nurse. This visit is designed to make your plan feel organized and manageable.
Review your treatment plan step-by-step
Explain the expected sequence of appointments and requirements
Go over medications and timing at a high level
Confirm what needs to be completed before treatment can begin
Answer practical questions so you feel prepared
This is how we protect your timeline and reduce avoidable delays. We do not skip required steps because details matter in fertility care.

Once your two orientation consults are complete, we schedule your first in-office appointment based on your plan.
Medication teaching
Pre-cycling testing
Baseline or follow-up testing as indicated
In-person coordination for a procedure or cycle start
Any evaluation that must be completed onsite
You may see your physician, sonographer, or another trained clinician depending on the purpose of the visit.

Most patients move forward in a structured sequence after the first visit flow is complete.
Completing any recommended testing or record review
Finalizing cycle timing and readiness
Starting your next phase of care such as IUI, IVF, FET, egg freezing, or specialized evaluation

At Hanabusa, more medication or more eggs is not always better. We focus on the approach that fits your biology, with careful timing and thoughtful decision-making designed to support quality and outcomes.
A plan that respects your body and your life
Medication choices tailored to your response and goals
A calm, steady process with fewer unnecessary steps
You will be supported by a focused team designed to keep your care consistent and moving forward.
A physician leads your plan and medical decision-making
A nurse helps coordinate steps, requirements, and communication
Monitoring and ultrasounds may be performed by trained clinicians and sonographer following your physician’s plan
We prioritize continuity and aligned communication to protect outcomes

Monitoring helps your team make time-sensitive decisions throughout care.
Monitoring appointments may occur in the office when clinically indicated
The purpose is to track response and timing
Your physician’s plan guides every decision, even when another clinician performs the scan
We use an organized communication system to keep clinical instructions and updates from getting lost.
Clinical messaging is handled through the patient portal once you are registered
Enable notifications so you do not miss time-sensitive updates
If something is urgent, calling the clinic is the fastest path for triage

The Horizon Program is designed for patients where fertility care is especially time-sensitive and benefits from a defined plan, structured checkpoints, and clear expectations.
The Horizon Program may be recommended for patients with diminished ovarian reserve who are still menstruating, based on physician review.
The Horizon Program is required for any patient age 45+ pursuing treatment at Hanabusa IVF.
Up to 6 consecutive months of treatment or a maximum of 3 egg retrievals, whichever comes first
At least one egg retrieval within the first 3 months
The timeline begins at the Day 3 baseline cycle start
As part of the Horizon Program, patients complete a 60-minute telehealth consultation with Dr. Natasha Radojevic, Psy.D. This is a supportive, psychoeducational visit focused on decision support, expectations, and options. A brief summary is shared with our office and included in your medical record.
Fertility treatment can be emotionally demanding. Support can help you feel steadier, clearer, and more supported as decisions and outcomes unfold.
Feeling persistently anxious, sad, or overwhelmed
Trouble sleeping or concentrating
Decision fatigue or feeling stuck
Stress in relationships or daily life
