Your IVF lab matters. At Hanabusa IVF, we’ve built a state-of-the-art embryology laboratory with a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. We maintain rigorous quality standards across our facilities and processes to help protect eggs, embryos, and outcomes at every step.
Our laboratory team is made up of highly trained embryologists with decades of combined experience across reproductive medicine, IVF clinics, and research settings.
The laboratory holds a California Tissue Bank license, is registered with the FDA and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The procedure room is accredited by AAAASF, the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities.
A behind-the-scenes look at how our embryology team performs embryo biopsy for genetic testing (PGT), with careful handling and strict lab protocols designed to support embryo safety and accuracy.

At Hanabusa IVF, the lab isn’t a “back room” it’s the center of gravity for your outcomes. Every step is designed to protect what matters most: your eggs, sperm, embryos, and the time and hope you’ve invested to get here. Our embryology team works with rigorous identity verification, witnessing, and documentation protocols so every sample is continuously safeguarded. We maintain tightly controlled environments, temperature, pH, air quality, and timing, because embryos are exquisitely sensitive, and small variables can create big differences. That’s why our lab runs with discipline: calibrated equipment, validated processes, continuous monitoring, and careful handling at every transition point.
Just as importantly, our lab operates as an extension of our medical philosophy: individualized care. We coordinate closely with your physician and clinical team so your plan, your biology, and your lab strategy stay aligned, from fertilization methods and embryo culture decisions to freezing and thawing protocols. This is science practiced with intention: consistent, meticulous, and patient-centered.
You may never see most of what happens behind the lab doors, but you’ll feel it in the way we protect your options, respect your journey, and treat every detail like it matters… because it does.
