PGT-A (preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy) is an optional IVF add-on that can help identify embryos with the correct number of chromosomes before transfer. At Hanabusa IVF, we continuously evaluate the partners and processes behind this testing to ensure our patients receive accurate, reliable results—supported by strong laboratory standards and clear clinical coordination.
After working with several PGT-A laboratories in the past (including Progenesis and Cooper Genomics), our medical and embryology teams selected Gattaca Genomics as our PGT-A testing provider. This collaboration supports a more integrated workflow between embryo culture, biopsy timing, and reporting—while aligning with our lab’s focus on precision, consistency, and patient-specific decision-making.
A key benefit of this partnership is expanded access to tools that support embryo assessment, including our time-lapse incubator, and future opportunities to incorporate emerging AI-assisted technologies as they become available and clinically appropriate. Most importantly, our team has confidence in Gattaca’s quality systems and accreditation, and we believe this partnership strengthens the overall PGT-A experience for patients pursuing IVF with genetic testing.
If you’d like to learn more about PGT-A testing at Hanabusa IVF or review information about Gattaca Genomics, brochures are available in our office, and additional details can be found on their official website.
